Return of the Long Sleeved Rock Shirts

A staple of the 1990’s, the long sleeved rock shirt adorned many a grunge kid and any skateboarder worth his salt.  Lately, this tradition seems to have been taken over by the metal crowd, but we at Metropolis Vintage have been collecting these for some time now and think the public is ready for them once again!  We’ve unearthed a huge batch which we’ve just put out on the racks so you can replace the short sleeve version with the longer, winterized model.

The BOSS at Metropolis Vintage

CHRISTY

Everybody’s got a Hungry Heart . . .” sang The Boss, in a song he originally wrote for THE RAMONES. However, not every fan has a fine vintage Bruce Springsteen T-Shirt in their hands. Metropolis Vintage has our fair share of tees, with many of Bruce and the E-Street band  from their glory days of yesteryear.   By the way, the above photo is our pal, Metropolis customer Christy in a shirt she picked up a few days before running into the man himself.  Stop by our store, open 7 days a week and you may get just as lucky!

DJ Charly is going to rock Happy Hour

Another Friday is coming.

It means, we have another DJ that is going to be sent to Home Shuh-Weat Home.
She is like a ninja assassin sent to an enemy’s castle.

So, far Ethan and Mountain Drew DJed there.

This time, Miss Charly H. is going to play some fine tunes for the first time as a Metropolis DJ.

She will be DJing from 8 to 11.
And it’s free before 11 to get in.

(After that, it will be $3)

Yep, this is Charly.

I was wondering what she would play. I have not asked her, but there is a chance she plays this. This song is from my memory of talking about bands in NYC and music we like at her collage radio show.

Then, Mr. Johnathan Toubin of New York Night Train will keep you dance!

(It’s a nice Damned t-shirt, by the way.)
